Our Commitment to Privacy
Love Today is designed with privacy as a core principle. Your journal entries are personal, and we believe they should stay that way. We do not collect, store, or have access to your journal data.
Data Storage
All your journal entries, photos, and personal data are stored locally on your device and in your personal iCloud account (if you enable iCloud sync). We do not operate any servers that store your data.
- Local Storage: Your data is stored on your iPhone, iPad, or Mac using Apple's secure storage mechanisms.
- iCloud Sync: If enabled, your data syncs through your personal iCloud account, protected by your Apple ID credentials.
Data We Do Not Collect
We do not collect:
- Your journal entries or any content you create
- Your photos or media
- Your location data
- Personal information or identifiers
- Usage analytics or behavioral data
- Device information
Third-Party Services
Love Today uses the following Apple services:
- iCloud: For optional sync between your devices. Data is encrypted and stored in your personal iCloud account.
- WeatherKit: To display weather information for your entries. Weather requests are made through Apple's servers and are not linked to your identity.
- MapKit: To display maps and location information. Map data is provided by Apple.
We do not use any third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking services.
Face ID / Touch ID
Love Today offers optional biometric authentication to protect your journal. Biometric data is processed entirely on your device by Apple's secure enclave and is never accessible to the app or transmitted anywhere.
Data Deletion
Since all data is stored locally on your device and in your iCloud account:
- Delete entries within the app to remove them from your device
- Uninstall the app to remove all local data
- Manage iCloud data through your device's Settings > Apple ID > iCloud
Children's Privacy
Love Today does not knowingly collect any information from children. The app does not collect information from anyone.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this privacy policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date.
